By the way, there were two versions of the pre MS Pro Harps: the one with the "mat" covers, but later there was the "Pro Harp II" with polished and bright (brilliant?) black covers. Another remarkable difference: the reedplates of the pro harp II were no longer nailed to the comb but were attached by screws and the Pro Harp II was also available in some alternate tunings, like "Country Tuning" for instance.


Back then, in the pre-MS era, the Pro Harps were my favourite harps beside the old handmade Meisterklasse 580. No Marine Band, no Special 20...
And believe it or not, I am still playing my Pro Harp in the key of E, more than 20 years now and it runs and runs and runs....
