RE: [Harp-L] I was robbed/instrument insurance

Mike, problems with insurance under your HO3 policy would be flood exclusion
and possibly coverage territory. Most likely the one thru musicpro is on an
inland marine floater which is a broader form. Many times the homeowner
carrier has per item value limitations and you would need to schedule each
item over X amount of dollars to have coverage. An example would be having
a $5000 guitar and only collecting $1000 due to per item limitation. Could
work well for you but check these things.

My wife and I formed an LLC and we got instrument insurance, on the
business, through our home owner's insurance company. It's $500 deductible,
but all my harps are customs. also put all our P.A. and my guitars on it.
Costs me about $200 a year.
