[Harp-L] Re: Jazz-style Chromatic Harmonica Books

Hello, Niko and Winslow.

NIKO: Here are two excellent books for the study of jazz-style chromatic
and diatonic harmonicas.

"Jazz Harp"; by Richard Hunter, Oak Publications. It includes an audio CD.
Studies, exercises, transcriptions of famous jazz harp players.

"Jazz Harp"; by Phil Duncan, Mel Bay Publication. It's not known if it
includes an audio CD. Studies, exercises, tunes.

These books focus on the harmonica as applied to jazz. It's recommended
that a study of jazz methods and techniques should also be studied, in books
that are not specific to any musical instrument, but are intended to be
applied to many musical instruments.

WINSLOW: I'm interested in your two new books, Harmonica Jazz Chromatic;
and Harmonica for Dummies.
Who are the publishers, and does each of the books include an audio CD?

Thanks.

John Broecker
