[Harp-L] Butterfield

Hi,
I had two experiences that made the
bl;ues and my blood mix: one was seeing Savoy Brown live at a small club in Philly in 1967 or so and the other was
listening to Paul Butterfield as a lonely GI in Japan and thereby teaching myself to play harp. Canned Heat also had a role there, but not like Butterfild's harp.
Al Wilson was a great harp player, no question, but Butterfield was a seer---too
bad he left so early.

Best,

Jeff Jones
