OK, according to a knowledgeable source on The Well, it's Dave Burgin, who played with Roy Rogers for many years. He also had a 1984 album titled Wild Child on Flying Fish Records (a great, now disappeared label) with musos like Rogers, Norton Buffalo, David Grisman, Amos Garrett and Mel Martin on board.
