Re: [Harp-L] The Kinder AFB+

I go straight from the mic (Fat Bottom JT-30 with Black CR) or the wireless reciever to the Kinder AFB+ and then to a Wolf Harp Delay and then into either a Harp Gear Double Trouble (12" speaker) or a Harp Gear 2 (8" speaker) and it always sounds great. If I put the Kinder just before the amp it doesn't seem to work properly and I don't get near as good a tone. The Kinder is taking out the offending frequencies from the mic which is what it is intended to do. Then you can use your pedal and amp controls to get the sound you like.

I have a bassman , its a great amp.
On the other hand I know Brian from Harp Gear and his amps. And let me tell
you , you cant go wrong w/ ANYTHING that he does !!!!! He's sat in w/ us
numerous times and usually brings something out that will just blow your
mind and ears , lol .
Weve got 2 harp players in the band and trust me , were both drooling over
his gear !

I just wanted to add my two cents here on the Kinder AFB+. The greatest
thing about this little box isn't how great it will make your amp sound.
The greatest thing about it is that it will make just about ANY tube amp
sound great in just about any situation. Although I have my heart set on a
nice 4 x 10 harp amp like a Harp Gear or maybe a Meteor, it's nice to know
that I could go down to Piano's-n-Stuff, about two miles from my house and
buy a Fender Baseman RI and have it sound awesome with my Kinder box; or a
Super Reverb, or a Twin (!).. or what ever.
