You've just done what lots of adults will never be able to ...
publicly apologize.

>From a customization standpoint, get a new Bb and see if you can get
the reeds and reed plates, through you're own customization efforts in
embossing, gapping, etc, to work as well as the beauty you got from
Chris. You may find that your own fine adjustments have some
advantages for you, that a customizer can't anticipate. Plus over time
you can tweak it here and there. You'll find it will be good for your
playing as you work on the harp.

Actually, get a harp that is screwed together to work on, or add screws to a MB.

You can work on the harp slowly, a reed or hole at a time. Don't try
and do it all at once. The worst that can happen is that you end up
with some spare parts and likely you'll be successful and find it a
really interesting and worthwhile project.
