[Harp-L] SPAH Convention in Sacramento Pulling Together Nicely...

In five months the 2009 SPAH convention will kick off. The Harmonicoot's
will be our hosts and the entire SPAH team is now in full gear getting ready
for the big show. There is plenty of time to start tucking some cash away so
it will be a financial "no-brainer" by August! Five days at a SPAH
convention can change your life if you love the harmonica. Stay tuned to the
SPAH website www.spah.org <http://www.spah.org/> . A convention "fact"
sheet should be up by the end of the month.

I got a sneak peek at the line-up for this year and it is awesome. Having
the convention in California has brought us closer to some incredible
harmonica stars. Tommy Morgan and Mark Hummel will be two of our headliners
this year!

The West Coast is chock full of harmonica players. This convention has the
potential to be a real blockbuster. Those living east of the Rockies can't
risk missing this one. I have a funny feeling that the 2009 SPAH convention
will be the spark and catalyst for the turnaround in the California economy!

As I mentioned earlier, more information will be released shortly on the
SPAH website www.spah.org <http://www.spah.org/> . If you haven't seen the
new site please check it out. Bob Cohen, our webmaster, has done a great job
setting up our new home. Your feedback will be appreciated. The site will
always be a continuous work in progress. A growing internet portal for all
things harmonica, hosted by the premier international harmonica association.
Vendors will see some great ad space available. Contact Bob through the
website for info/pricing. Speaking of vendors.I have a good feeling about
"vending area" in Sacramento. Things are really cooking in our industry.
Make sure you save a few extra bucks to spend in the "harmonica candy
store".

Jp just pumped out an excellent "Harmonica Happenings" magazine for SPAH
members and a new issue highlighting the coming convention will be out soon
after! Vendors can check in with Jp as well to get the low-down on our
bargain basement advertising rates.

How about an early "roll call"? Who is already planning on being in
Sacramento this August 11-15th? Remember, early registration will save you
some money and help us to better prepare for the event
