I own one of Bill Romel's Chromatic Pre-War acrylic bodied 64's-It was in need of reed repair,windsavers,mouthpiece and covers. Bill had qouted me a price before he passed on,which seemed resonable at the time.
After Bill passed on.I finally found some time and money to have the 64 worked on.
On the advice of Steve Guyger,I sent the 64 to Michael Easton-www.harmonicarepair.com.
For half the price of Bill's quote he repaired all of the aforementioned,and returned it in 7 days!!
I showed it to Kim Wilson last night-he was impresssed,and will also be contacting Mike to repair his 64.
