RE: [Harp-L] PC-based Amp Emulation software? Suggestions?

A friend of mine loves Amplitube Ii.
http://www.ikmultimedia.com
I've heard some of his computer-recorded tracks and, though the software is
certainly guitar-centric, from the site, it looks like you have a lot of
flexibility in matching "virtual components".
(Just don't.. cross a street with an oncoming bus.)
On the site, I didn't see any reference to playing the results of your
Amplitube cross-fertilizations through an external device, but it doesn't
sound like that's what you're wanting to do.
Good luck,
Brad Trainham

Subject: [Harp-L] PC-based Amp Emulation software? Suggestions?

Is their software available that will allow playing through a PC that will
emulate amps/effects. Just to clarify play into PC mike with sound coming
out in real time through the speakers/headphones.

Thanks.
