Some were made by Valco, who made the Supro amps, but some others were made 
by Danelectro.  The Danos are great too.  JDH

They're similar to the supro amps. Many yrs ago l got my 2/6L6 1x15 (red 
gold ceramic jensen) Airline "Bass Guitar Amp" for 100 bux locally. Two Tone 
black and cream tolex. Killer tone w smooth buttery breakup, but little 
headroom. It's very similar to a Supro Thunderbolt. I also picked up a small 
1x8 (alnico jensen) Airline w black tolex. Excellent champ- like tone w 
great tremolo.
