[Harp-L] Re: [Jason] uses a bunch of pedals

I didn't take pictures of his pedal board the past few times I saw him, but there's only one pedal that I can remember that would change the tone, and that's an Octave Generator, Micro POG. It's been the same layout for quite some time as when I went to have a look at the pedal board when he was at Boston's, he said to me, "It's still the same as last time." <grin>

IIRC there is a small mixer upper right... the chain starts with the wireless to the Kinder AFB to the POG to a chorus a Two-Timer delay and an envelope filter. There may be another one on there I can't remember.

I suppose the EQ on the mixer could be used to cut highs.

My feeling is that the tone is mostly from him and the Ultimate 57.

Splash!

BTW, EV630, Have you ever seen Jason live?

Jason Ricci. I understand he can get a big tone using traditional techniques but since his trademark speed and facility depends on lip pursing, he uses a bunch of pedals.
