[Harp-L] Richard Hunter Workshop

Richard Hunter treated Irish "harpists" to an entertaining and informative
workshop in Walton's Music School in Dublin last week. It was a very
enjoyable session which he finished off nicely by jamming with two local
harmonica players.
Perhaps it is just dumb luck, but the few professional harmonica players I
have encountered face to face over the years all seem to have been devoid of
ego - or at least they have had their egos well under control. They have
also all had an agreeable sense of humour.
Hey! maybe striving for perfection with the Tin Sandwich is good for the
soul.
I guess I had better spend a greater proportion of my remaining years
actually putting the harmonica to my gob instead of just reading about it.
Having said that I fear that Richard's tome on the Jazz Harp is going to be
a "must have"
