Re: [Harp-L] Jason Ricci's band

The published story is both inaccurate and incomplete. I won't go
into details, but suffice it to say that Jason will resume touring in
August with a new guitarist and a new bass player. And he's got some
surprises up his sleeve. For now he's taking a breather.

Re his website being down: The webmaster, the only person with the
password to work on the site, renew registration, etc. had a personal
tragedy and dropped out of sight; nothing to do with Jason. Harp-l'ers
with long memories may recall when a similar scenario caused harp-l to
be broken for awhile.

Hello all,
I was just surfing the web, and came across a news story that Jason Ricci canceled a gig in at a club Bethlehem PA.  The club owner was quoted as saying that Jason's booking agent had called him to cancel the show, and said about Jason, "His whole band up and quit on him" The story went on to say the rest of his June gigs, and all of his July gigs were canceled. Has anybody else heard anything about this?? The story was posted 8 hrs ago.
