Re: [Harp-L] where to upload audio for download by bandmates

One way is to set up a free Drpbox account. You drag files to the dropbox folder on your computer (this requires a software download), put it in a folder to which access is restricted according to the email addresses you specify. and users of those email addresses can then download whatever is in the folder. they don''t need to down load any software. (You can also create public folders.)

One of my Jazzschool students hipped me to this and it made it much easier for me to distribute PDF handouts and mp3s to students.

Again I will reveal my ignorance: how/where might I upload audio files (wavs, mp3s) for (private) download so my bandmates don't have to wait for me to burn and distrib a cd?

Thanks!
