[Harp-L] New York happenings

Hey from NYC.

Here's a site that lists most all of the cool music happening in town.

http://www.web-ho.com/Gigometer

There's bluegrass and old time jam that I often attend every Wednesday
at 9:30 pm at the Grisly Pear located at 107 MacDougal Street in
Greenwich Village - (212) 529-3808 - its big, busy and super fun and
very harp friendly.

Jalopy Theater in Red Hook Brooklyn presents, "Roots n Ruckus," a
night of folk, old-time and blues music every Wednesday. You will see
and hear people playing banjos, guitars, washboards, tub-basses kazoos
and harmonicas. This is the gig to go to for real deal folk music in
New York City. Hosted by Feral Foster and featuring a stellar group of
musicians. The gig happens every week. Jalopy is located at, 315
Columbia Street Brooklyn

If you are still in town Friday I'll be playing with my roots band the
Whistlin' Wolves at the Brooklyn Honky Tonk Hoedown at Superfine in
Brooklyn. We hit at 9pm and there's great music all weekend. 126 Front
St, Brooklyn (718) 243-9005
