Re: [Harp-L] Wireless set ups

Michael,
I have the same set-up and yes you can but it's a little clunky as you will need a hi-lo transformer between the mic and the transmitter.

I found on that has a female XLR connector and it takes up less room than having a female x female adapter in line.

So the set up is mic, 1/4' female out, male 1/4 x female XLR transformer, male XLR wireless transmitter

Thanks Jerry,

Subject: [Harp-L] Wireless set ups

Hello all,
I was watching some Jason Ricci you tube stuff a while back. I noticed he has a wireless transmitter that plugs into the XLR fitting on the bottom of a stick mic. Does anyone know if you can set up a JT30 with an XLR so you could use that same style wireless transmitter on the "bullet" style mics? Or maybe some sort of adapter to go from XLR to 1/4 inch?? Thanx in advance for any advice.
Mike
