Re: [Harp-L] NHL H2010 Festival videos

Roger,

I really enjoyed perusing the clips over my morning coffee!!!

Very Versatile and impressive line up of talent as always, but I think you this year you may have hit the nail on the 'head'!!,-)

Something there for everyone, from Blues, Jazz Chrom, Pop, and some Irish thrown in for good measure!,-)

I especially loved:

-Olivier Ker Ourio's Jazz version of Larry Adler's "Le Grisbi" stunning, haunting and well executed!

-Rachelle Plas' funky Diatonic solo (and vocals) on Supertitious!

-Dave Barrett's G Blues with some REAL tasty 1st and 2nd position work!

-Brendan Powers & Mick Kinsella's sitdown duet of some amazing Celtic Blues & Beyond Music!!!

-Jon Vaughan's deep amped harp solos, what a TONE!

and the young 16 yr olds Jack Fuller & Jeremy (Gtr)...not playing blues but a sweet POP piece with some real well played Diatonic...very nice!

Thanks to everyone who came from Britain and beyond and made last
weekend's NHL H2010 festival in Bristol, UK, probably the best one so
far.

Lots of people joined in with workshops and the artists were
fantastic. A great atmosphere and a sell out concert.

If you were there, here are a few video memories of the Saturday night
concert.

If you weren't, maybe they will make you wish you had been and quickly
write the date, Oct 28-30, 2011, in your diary so you don't miss the
next one.
