[Harp-L] Re: Harp-L Digest, Vol 87, Issue 30

Hey Glenn, what a pleasure to see your youtube channel. I still have my 20 year old copy of your fiddle tune instruction book, and I often turn to Planxty Irwin and Blind Mary if I'm asked to play something impromptu; they never fail to please.

I remember reading recently on your web site that you now recommend using Brendan's Paddy Richter tuning for those fiddle tunes, and I'm wondering if your book has been updated for use with that tuning, or whether you have tab available for sale separately?

Glad to hear you're still at it!

Regards,
Harry Thomas

Hi All-

Today I posted on YouTube a recording of me playing a medley of "The Year of
Jubilo" and "Turkey in the Straw." I doubled tracked myself playing rhythm
guitar in bluegrass style. For the video image, I used the cover of my book
(I don't look like that anymore, but who cares- you can be anything on the
Internet)

Hope you all like it!
