[Harp-L] Bullet mike static/disconnection?

      So I tried contacting Steve Warner (thunder harp) mikes at two different email addresses but he is unavailable. Forgive the expiation naivete: A chromed old shure bullet with a stem that you screw a connector on to insert the male end of an instrument/guitar cable. On both the mike stem and the connecter there is what appears to be a ball of solder that each must touch to make the connection (that seems obvious). after the crackling and disconnect on more than one amp I tried a different connector between the mike and the cord but it still happened. Upon inspecting the mike it seems the little ball of solder has retracted in a little thereby making the connection precarious. Can I get someone to just add a little solder? I have other mikes but prefer this one and can't afford (economically or timewise) to send it out right now. Does any of this make sense to anyone. Gratefully! d
