Re: [Harp-L] Blues Songs in Commercials

I thought I was the only one that notice it, not only many commercials
but background music on TV shows like orange county choppers and Dirty Jobs
with mike Rowe as two examples

Has anyone else noticed how much blues songs are being used in commercials
lately? At first I was annoyed, but then I thought this could be a good
thing. I live in Atlanta and the blues scene has been struggling for years.
We just lost another long-time blues bar called DArwins. Maybe this could
reinvigorate the blues?

These are commericals I have notice so far:

Junior Wells for Viagra (I dont know the song name)
Howlin Wolf Smokestack Lightning for Viagra
Bo Diddley I'm a Man for Nissan
Bo Diddley I'm a Man (sung by a woman) for some clothing commerical for a
company called H & M?

Any others that I have missed?
