Listening to the Pat Ramsey clip Tweed Princeton is not the first tone category that comes to my mind. He sounds like Pat Ramsey more than anything else. Going way back to the Johnny Winter album the sound is the same. When he was playing with Crosscut Saw, same tone, ditto for his Tallahassee iteration of the Pat Ramsey band. I'm certain he wasn't playing a Tweed Princeton then. Hearing his cover of the Little Feat tune, Skin it Back, where he plays the keyboard line intro to the song I'm pretty certain he was using some 4-10 Fender thing. Same tone. fjm
