I have owned a music store for nine years(recently sold it but staying with the new owner as an employee) we would NEVER let a customer blow a harp(or kazoo) and give it back to us. The rule is simple, if it touches your lips, you bought it.  Now if there is an issue such as a bad reed we will take a return but basically "you blow it , you buy it"
