One last thought regarding your gig tomorrow: (And apologies here if you already have this covered....)


Although most folks would consider this self evident, nothing botches a guitar/harp duo performance more than being slightly out-of-tune. When you tune up before the show, remember diatonic harps are tuned slightly sharp-to-pitch (ie A=442 or 443, rather than the standard 440.) So....

If the guitarist uses an electronic tuner, ask him to tune A=442. He won't regret it. :)

Or if he tunes by ear, chances are he'll want to tune his two E strings to your E. Because harps are never perfect, it's always more accurate to give him an E-octave (A-harp, 3/6 blow with a tongue-split in the middle,) rather than a single E note (2-draw or 3-blow.)
