Re: [Harp-L] best harmonica tracks?

Hi Neil,

Not sure if your looking for Chromatic or Diatonic or if Blues or Other,
with me there are no boundaries so here are just a few of my favs:

The Jig is Up - Norton Buffalo (Loving in the Valley of The Moon)
Body and Soul - Toots w/ Bill Evans (Affinity Lp)
Alfie - Stevie Wonder
Puerto de Azul - Norton Buffalo
Charlie Musselwhite - Christo Redemptor
The Shadow of Your Smile - Toots (Slow Motion or Bluesette Lp)
The Work Song - Paul Butterfield
Bluestown - Howard Levy (Movie soundtrack 'A Family Thing')

BTW, Here's a few of my own Harp instrumental covers I've recorded over the
years and hopefully I've inspired a few young players out there, these
aren't 'Blues' but my approach is always blues based.

Shame, Shame, Shame (Hudson River Rats - First Take CD)
Ticket to Ride (Etruscan Soul CD)
Peg (Steely Dan) (")
Body and Soul (")
The Christmas Song

It'll be nice to hear other ideas with such a diverse list, thanks great
post, it's come up before but as you say maybe we can not list the classics
as we've been there and done that,-))

All The Best,
Rob Paparozzi
