As a new player myself, I've found that just enjoying the practice, maybe mixing it up a bit and not setting benchmarks and expectations has really added to the enjoyment. Really the first thing I've done where the complete barometer of success is simply enjoying the process.  No doubt I could be progressing faster - but what the heck=)
