RE: [Harp-L] Fireball Mic with volume control???

I can attest to that. Greg just made a custom one for my old BLJT-30 the
other day. And then when we were playing at a jam and he was graciously
allowing me to use his fantastic Sonny 410 (I'm saving, baby, I'm saving),
he told me my mic sucked. Actually, he said the element might be no good
since he had to crank his 410 for me to get any volume. :-)

But he then said when we next get together, he'll check out the mic for me
to see if it's any good. Now that's service. He's a good guy and an
excellent harp player.

I haven't heard of a Fireball VC version, but you can add a volume control
to just about any configuration with one of Greg Heumann's inline devices.
Greg's a great guy to work with, and does custom configurations and
variations. He has hiZ, loZ, XLR, amphenol, 1/4", all kinds of finishes,
etc.

No affiliation, just like to see a great product get recognized.
